What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and necessary journal entries
- Monitor billing activity, develop the annual budget, and track revenue and expense variances
- Participate in physician meetings to present financial information
- Calculate physician incentive compensation using billing and encounter reports
- Collaborate with senior leadership on business plans and due diligence for practice acquisitions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of financial analysis experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Advanced skills in analyzing physician group financials and revenue cycle management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Familiarity with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, including HIPAA
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong customer service skills and high integrity in handling confidential information
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and adapt to changing priorities
