Job Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst is a key new role in the Finance team and will be involved in critical strategic initiatives such as strategic financial planning & analysis, budgeting, reporting, business case development, and supporting acquisitions efforts. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical/strategically minded Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting, analyzing financial statements, developing financial models, preparing projections, and supporting leadership with research and analysis. You will also provide financial guidance to department teams and assist with the monthly close process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements and reports, consolidating monthly reports
• Track KPIs and prepare financial reports
• Manage the annual budget process, collaborate with budget leaders, and compile submissions
• Assist in preparing budget presentations for executives and the Board
• Report on key business drivers
• Provide financial guidance to department heads
• Develop financial projections and build complex financial models using Excel
• Conduct research and analysis as needed
• Explain variances
• Perform monthly and quarterly forecasting and manage forecasting models
• Update headcount roll-forwards and perform cash forecasting
• Assist with quarterly Board presentations
• Model variable compensation and bonuses
• Support ad-hoc analysis and modeling

• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience in Private Equity portfolio companies preferred
• Big 4 or similar experience preferred
• Experience with Intacct and/or NetSuite is a plus

Location

• This position is 100% remote, supporting east to west coast time zones
