We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be the primary finance partner for our Roanoke manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll work closely with plant leadership to help drive smart business decisions through financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
You'll help connect what's happening on the manufacturing floor to the financial results of the business by providing insights on costs, performance, risks, and opportunities. This is a highly visible role that works across operations, supply chain, and finance, helping leaders understand the numbers and make better decisions that improve efficiency, profitability, and growth.
You'll lead budgeting and forecasting activities for the facility, analyze monthly financial results, and explain key drivers behind performance. You'll develop financial models and business cases to support investments, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
A significant part of the role involves understanding manufacturing costs, labor, materials, and overhead expenses, identifying trends, and helping leaders find opportunities to improve productivity and profitability. You'll also support capital spending decisions, monitor business performance metrics, facilitate financial reviews with leadership, and ensure accurate financial reporting and controls.
In addition, you'll partner with operations and supply chain teams on continuous improvement efforts, support month-end and year-end close activities, and contribute to cross-functional projects that help move the business forward.
We're seeking someone with strong financial planning and analysis experience who can turn complex data into clear, actionable business insights. The ideal candidate understands manufacturing environments, cost accounting concepts, and how operational decisions impact financial results.
You should be comfortable building relationships across different teams, communicating financial concepts to non-financial leaders, and influencing decisions through thoughtful analysis. Strong Excel skills, experience with ERP systems and reporting tools, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are important for success in this role.
