Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, operating metrics, and manufacturing performance.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, labor, materials, overhead, inventory, and production variances.
- Provide variance analysis and explain actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Develop reporting and dashboards that provide leadership with visibility into key financial and operational KPIs.
- Support annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
- Analyze production efficiency, productivity, capacity utilization, scrap, labor performance, and other operational metrics.
- Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to analyze purchasing, material costs, inventory, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate capital expenditures, business cases, and return-on-investment opportunities.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate findings to leadership.
- Build financial models and ad hoc analyses to support strategic business decisions.
- Improve financial reporting processes, systems, and analytical tools.
- Assist with month-end close and management reporting as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across Finance and Operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, manufacturing finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the larger business picture.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
