Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who digs into the why behind the numbers to inform strategic decisions and growth. You will partner with leaders across Operations, Intake, Recruitment, and Leadership to translate data into actionable insights.

You will own recurring financial reporting, conduct scenario modeling, KPI analysis, and support budgeting, forecasting, and integration activities for acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3 years of Big Four or equivalent public accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and own recurring financial reporting and analysis that supports forecasting, operational planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with teams across Operations, Intake, Recruitment, and Leadership to understand business performance and provide actionable financial insights.
• Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses, including scenario modeling, trend analysis, and business case support.
• Analyze KPIs and communicate the story behind the numbers, including variances between actual results, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Support acquisition-related initiatives, including financial integration activities and development of pro forma budgets.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process by partnering with operational leaders to develop assumptions and evaluate business performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and simplify financial reporting and analytical processes.
