Job summary

FlexTek seeks a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our corporate team in a hybrid role blending financial analysis and executive support. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process improvements while partnering with senior leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Viewpoint Vista or similar preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to balance financial analysis with executive support responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis and KPIs.
  • Support budgeting and ongoing financial forecasting.
  • Analyze results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decisions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses, executive reports, and presentations.
  • Support external audits with schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure reporting complies with policies and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data analysis.
  • Develop reporting tools and maintain ERP data accuracy.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to enhance reporting and efficiency.
  • Coordinate executive calendars, meetings, and materials.
  • Prepare board/leadership meeting packets and communications.
  • Draft, edit, and format reports and presentations.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

Job description

We're seeking a highly analytical and adaptable Financial Analyst to join our growing corporate team. This unique hybrid role combines financial analysis and reporting with executive-level administrative support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both working with financial data and partnering closely with senior leadership.

You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement while also supporting executive operations through meeting coordination, communication management, and administrative organization. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance metrics.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, executive reports, and presentations.
  • Support external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
  • Ensure financial reporting complies with company policies and accounting standards.
Process Improvement & Reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting through automation and enhanced data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools using advanced Excel and ERP systems.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Executive & Administrative Support
  • Coordinate executive calendars, schedule meetings, and manage competing priorities.
  • Organize board and leadership meetings, including preparing agendas, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Draft, edit, and format reports, presentations, and executive correspondence.
  • Screen emails and communications, acting as a liaison between executives and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential financial and business information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide administrative support to executive leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects.
