Job summary

AmeriQual Group, a multi-site food manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver FP&A, forecasting, and reporting support across three locations. You will build financial models, analyze performance, prepare forecasts, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

The role partners with CFO, plant leadership, operations, supply chain, and sales to explain results, identify risks and opportunities, and improve profitability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. MBA or CFA a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of corporate finance, FP&A, or investment banking experience. Experience in food and beverage, manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods industries strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365. Proficiency with AI tools and automation workflows a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Collaborative team player capable of working independently and meeting objectives with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, provide variance analysis, compare actuals to budget or forecast and explain key business drivers.
  • Prepare and distribute timely, accurate financial reports and dashboards for plant and corporate leadership, private equity stakeholders, and board meetings.
  • Track product line profitability, analyze margin performance, monitor raw material cost fluctuations, and evaluate plant-level overhead efficiencies.
  • Analyze large datasets from ERP and other systems to support decision-making. Identify trends and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes, automate financial workflows, and improve financial visibility across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards

Job Purpose

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a manufacturing environment.
