Senior Financial Analyst – Virtual

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Virtual to join one of our client teams.

This role involves supporting core business analysis and metrics for the account. Ideal candidates are clear communicators, organized, with effective time management skills, a willingness to learn and adapt, and uphold high standards of behavior, collaboration, and work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis

• Provide analytical support to improve behaviors and techniques
• Support cost-savings and process improvement initiatives
• Perform complex data analysis
• Analyze performance data to forecast/trend
• Conduct variation analysis
• Financial modeling, analysis, and compilation of quantitative data
• Handle sensitive information discreetly and confidentially

1. Reporting

• Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reports, including internal and client-ready documents, graphs, charts, and presentations
• Develop efficient reporting strategies, including automation and simplification, while maintaining data integrity

1. Teamwork

• Participate in developing and distributing best practices, process documentation, and user support materials
• Use team SharePoint site for data collection, reporting, and communication
• Demonstrate high levels of customer service with clients and internal teams
• Share and improve technical skills within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 6 years of related experience
• Strong accounting skills
• Excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with computer-based accounting applications; JD Edwards experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills for internal and external audiences
• Consistent demonstration of values, principles, and work ethic
• Understanding of and commitment to client service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse, collaborative, and driven environment

Compensation

Estimated total compensation: USD 90,000 – 105,000 per year. This range is an estimate and not guaranteed. Actual offers depend on education, experience, skills, location, and market considerations.

Location: On-site in Chicago, IL, or Dallas, TX.
