Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a finance professional to support budget, forecast and long-term strategic planning models. You will prepare executive summaries for Senior Management and the Board, maintain operating reports, and provide analyses such as ROI and pro formas to support strategic initiatives.

The role requires advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver timely financial insights. Occasional travel may be required as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and completion of budget/forecast models.
  • Analyze actual performance to budget/forecast and monitor KPI trends.
  • Implement and work with BI tools and dashboarding.
  • Improve current processes to drive efficiencies.
  • Analyze complex financial information to provide timely recommendations to management.
  • Support Senior Management and Departments with in-depth analysis.
  • Prepare presentations for Board of Directors and Senior Management.
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis and special projects.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Exempt level experience involving various financial planning and analysis duties
  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
Essential Job Functions
  • Assist with preparation and completion of budget/forecast models

  • Implement and work with Business Intelligence tools and dashboarding
  • Improve upon current processes to drive efficiencies
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Supporting Senior Management and Departments with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations for Board of Directors and Senior Management
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis and special projects
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
Working Conditions (travel, environment)
  • Occasional travel may be required including air and/or car travel
