This role delivers financial analysis and reporting to support decision‑making across lines of business. It evaluates performance against plans and strategic goals, prepares management insights, and contributes to investment cases and value creation initiatives. It plays a key role in developing recurring forecasts and the annual financial plan, with moderate autonomy and influence.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis.
  • Ability to take direction and then work independently to complete tasks while considering broader implications or necessary additional analysis.
  • Ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Sound and logical decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other basic software products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst.
  • Master's degree of MBA.
  • Specific financial services or specialized industry experience.
  • Proficient in Essbase/Hyperion, EPM/BPC, or other enterprise accounting software.
  • Experience with macros/VBA.

The annual base salary for this position is $74,000 – $134,000.

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax‑preferred savings accounts, and a 401(k) plan to teammates. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full‑time or part‑time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays. Depending on the position and division, this job may also be eligible for Truist’s defined benefit pension plan, restricted stock units, and/or a deferred compensation plan.
