Job summary

Abbott Diabetes Care is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with Global HQ Commercial leaders, guiding strategic planning and investment decisions. This high-visibility role supports Marketing and the Project Management Office in a fast-paced environment, delivering actionable financial insights.

Responsibilities include leading forecasts, budgets, and monthly outlooks, managing operating expenses, and building dashboards to improve visibility for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of financial analysis, planning, or forecasting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to plan, implement, and manage financial information and control systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working collaboratively with business partners to support financial decision-making.

Abbott Diabetes Care is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with Global Headquarters Commercial leaders in driving strategic financial planning, forecasting, and investment decisions. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence business performance, provide actionable financial insights, and support key global functions including Marketing and the Project Management Office in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Work On

• MBA, Master's degree, CPA, or other relevant professional certification.
• Strong understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
• Experience supporting Commercial, Manufacturing, or Corporate Finance organizations.
• Knowledge of financial policies, accounting principles, and budgeting best practices.
• Proven ability to identify business challenges and opportunities and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Experience with financial planning and enterprise systems such as Hyperion, Essbase, SAP, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated success driving process improvements and enhancing financial reporting capabilities.

The base pay for this position is $90,000.00 – $180,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
