Abbott is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Alameda, CA to support FP&A for ADC Global Operations. You will gather and analyze financial data from P&L, Balance Sheet, CapEx, and Cash Flow to inform strategic decisions, coordinating with US, Ireland, and UK teams.
This on-site role demands accuracy and timely reporting. You’ll assist month-end close, forecasts, and management presentations, and build flexible tools for consolidation and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.
- 3-5 years financial analysis experience.
- Highly proficient in Excel.

As Senior Financial Analyst, you will be supporting FP&A Managers, responsible for collecting, compiling, and analyzing ADC Global Operations financial information from P&L, Balance Sheet, CapEx and Cashflow to provide accurate and timely information to finance management for strategic and operational decisions. This position requires communication between ADC Global Operations Headquarter, ADC Division Headquarter, and ADC financial teams in US, Ireland and UK. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.
- Partner with Global ADC Operations finance teams to acquire information for reporting and variance analysis.
- Support month-end close process and reporting of ADC Global Operations financial performance metrics on a timely and accurate basis.
- Prepare, consolidate, and analyze ADC Global Operations forecast information to support deliverables during LBE/OEM/Plan cycle.
- Develop flexible, comprehensive tools and templates to support the consolidation and timely completion of ADC Global Operations schedules as well as develop process improvements that meet the needs of the financial planning and reporting requirement.
- Support/Analyze ADC Global Operations financial forecasts incorporating historical results, trends, and current business/market information.
- Develop flexible, comprehensive tools and templates to support the consolidation and timely submission of deliverables.
- Create and present slides summarizing key business activities that support the financial submissions from the finance teams. Assist with executive presentation development.
- Organize and maintain complex Excel files, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Meet deadlines with minimal supervision and balance workload requirements. Support Finance management on key projects and analysis.
- Perform Ad hoc requests for management, with data mining and presentation support.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, accounting or economics)
- 3-5 years financial analysis experience.
- Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree / MBA preferred
- Experience with EssBase, Dodeca, SAP and Hyperion a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Knowledge of PBI (Power BI)

The base pay for this position is $90,000.00 – $180,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
