Job summary

Storage Solutions - A Jungheinrich Company is seeking a Sr. Financial Accounting Analyst to lead core accounting activities outside O2C/P2P, including inventory accounting, fixed assets, accruals, and payroll.

The role focuses on ensuring balance sheet integrity and timely financial close for North America, reporting to the NA Controller. The ideal candidate will have a strong IFRS background, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ERP proficiency, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (preferred) and 5+ years accounting experience including inventory, fixed assets, and close.
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Accounting: valuation, reserves, and reconciliation of inventory-related accounts.
• Fixed Assets & Capitalization: asset master data, depreciation, transfers, and retirements.
• Accruals, Provisions & Payroll Accounting: monthly accruals, provisions, payroll entries and reconciliation.
• Vendor Payment Run Preparation: prepare payment run proposals and ensure timing/accuracy.
• Financial Close & Group Reporting: support month/year-end close and group reporting timelines; perform reconciliations.
• Controls, Compliance & Documentation: IFRS compliance, governance, audit support.
• Analysis & Continuous Improvement: account/variance analysis and process improvements; use Power BI for reconciliations and close monitoring.
