Qualifications

• Typically two to five years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of statutory and GAAP accounting rules and regulations.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements with a broad business perspective.
• Proficient in general ledger accounting and spreadsheet applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex general ledger accounting entries for life insurance subsidiaries and non‑life entities, on both a statutory and GAAP basis.
• Partners with peers to present results to department leadership and BU analysts to support budgeting and decision‑making.
• Leads departmental initiatives and coordinates with auditors on enterprise projects.
• Performs complex account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Identifies accounting issues impacting the insurance and non‑life companies and escalates as needed.
