The role emphasizes internal controls, process improvements, SOX, and collaboration with operations and IT on finance transformation. 5+ years in financial reporting, CPA preferred, and strong Excel skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of financial reporting or insurance accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP financial statements and disclosures preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and SEC filings.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Support investment accounting and reporting activities.
• Maintain SOX-compliant documentation and assist with audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes.
• Mentor team members and participate in system enhancements.
