Job summary

Vse Aviation Inc is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to lead monthly close, financial reporting, and inventory analysis for aviation segments. You will ensure GAAP-compliant, timely reporting across multiple business units and support process improvements.

The role requires 6+ years of accounting experience, CPA-equivalence, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks/Quantum. You will collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Operations to optimize resource allocation and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 6+ years of relevant technical accounting experience.
• CPA certification is equivalent to 3 years of public accounting or 4 years corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks/Quantum.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly/quarterly/yearly close process and prepare journal entries.
• Review reconciliations, financial statements, and GL analyses.
• Support cycle count processes and inventory reporting for Aviation.
• Draft inventory reports documenting counts and discrepancies.
• Reconcile inventory with ERP and analyze root causes.
• Maintain the general ledger for accurate financial recording.
• Assist external auditors and support internal controls.
• Participate in ERP upgrades and system implementations.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
