Job summary

Boom is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in the United States to own the general ledger and support financial reporting. You will manage month-end close, ensure accuracy, and drive improvements across systems with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.

The role requires CPA certification and 3–6 years of experience, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. You will interact with senior management and help scale the finance function for ambitious engineering

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience, public accounting start preferred.
• CPA certification is required.
• Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close end-to-end with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and explanations.
• Support financial reporting and audit readiness with clean workpapers.
• Identify recurring issues and drive automation and AI-assisted improvements.
• Research complex accounting areas including equity, investments, taxes, etc.
• Manage and support the accounting systems and related projects.
• Collaborate with procurement, facilities and legal teams to provide system expertise.
