Boom Technology, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to own the general ledger and support financial reporting. You will execute the month-end close end-to-end and help improve systems around accounting in real time.

This role demands precision, the ability to triage mid-close issues, and collaboration with procurement, facilities, and legal teams. A CPA and 3-6 years of experience are required, with a strong foundation in accounting processes and analytics.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of accounting experience, public accounting start preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• High-paced environment with continuous learning.
• Experience with GL and invoicing workflows.

Responsabilités

• Execute month-end close end-to-end with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance explanations.
• Maintain clean workpapers and schedules to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
• Identify recurring issues and reduce manual work, including through automation and AI tools.
• Account for complex areas (equity, investments, taxes) and resolve questions with clarity.
• Manage accounting systems and related projects; support procurement, facilities, and legal teams.
• Collaborate with upper management and operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
