Deloitte’s BPS Finance team in the UK is seeking a senior, client-facing finance professional to design, implement and run outsourced finance operations. You will lead multinational teams, advise clients on IFRS/GAAP matters and drive automation across the finance function.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, complex reporting environments and delivery excellence, with a hybrid London-based working arrangement. Applicants should have Big 4 experience and strong governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong accounting, reporting and finance operations experience, incl. IFRS, UK GAAP or US GAAP.
• Experience delivering finance operations, managed services, outsourcing, co-sourcing or complex finance transformation projects.
• Client-facing experience with senior stakeholders across locations/time zones.
• Proven ability to lead teams across locations, including hybrid and delivery centre environments.
• SLA/KPI governance, quality control, project planning, risk management and contract awareness.
• Continuous improvement mindset with automation, data, reporting tools and finance technology.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, make fact-based decisions and manage competing priorities.
• Experience developing KPIs, reporting cycles, business cases, project plans or process standards.
• Experience with Workiva, ONESOURCE, MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or similar finance systems.
• Power BI or similar data visualization and analytics experience.
• Experience in Big 4, professional services, shared services or multinational environment.
• Project management certification or equivalent practical delivery experience.
• Foundational awareness of tax, treasury, valuation, M&A, internal controls, internal audit, risk management or cybersecurity as they relate to finance operations.

Responsabilités

• Client delivery and relationship management with senior stakeholders across locations/time zones.
• Oversee accounting, management reporting, statutory reporting, audit support and technical discussions on IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP matters.
• Managed services governance: ensure service levels, KPIs, quality standards and client expectations.
• Lead UK-based and delivery centre teams with clear roles and SOPs.
• Drive transformation and continuous improvement using automation and finance technologies.
• Support business planning, talent development, recruitment and strategic objectives of the BPS Finance practice.
