Job summary

Deloitte UK’s BPS Finance team is seeking a finance professional to advise clients, implement and operate finance solutions, and lead distributed teams across projects. This role emphasizes expertise in financial reporting, automation, and transformation with a strong client-facing component.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, manage delivery across locations, and contribute to the wider strategic objectives of the BPS Finance practice. Hybrid working is available in London.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong accounting, reporting and finance operations experience.
• Experience delivering finance operations, managed services, outsourcing or complex finance transformation projects.
• Client-facing experience with senior audiences.
• Ability to lead teams across locations, including hybrid and delivery centre environments.
• SLA/KPI governance, quality control and project planning experience.
• Interest in automation, data, reporting tools and finance technology.

Responsibilities

• Client delivery and relationship management across locations and time zones.
• Oversee accounting, management reporting, statutory reporting and IFRS/US GAAP considerations.
• Governance of managed services: meet contractual commitments, SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead UK-based and delivery centre teams; establish roles and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to standardise, automate and improve finance processes with tools and AI.
• Support business planning, team development and broader strategic objectives.
