Job summary

Hightower Advisors, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Accountant & Finance Systems Associate to join a hybrid role blending core accounting with payroll operations and HRIS support.

You will manage GAAP financial reporting, general ledger, and monthly close while coordinating payroll JEs and HR systems analytics across Finance, HR, and IT. Candidates should have 5+ years in accounting, ERP experience, and strong Excel; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with GAAP reporting.
• Experience with enterprise HR/payroll systems (Dayforce, Workday, ADP, UKG).
• Proficiency in ERP software and advanced Excel; knowledge of BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze data to provide insights for management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasts with department heads.
• Coordinate audits and ensure tax compliance.
