Job summary

University of California Office of the President seeks a Senior Finance and Resource Manager to lead division budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for UCNL, LBNL, LANL and LLNL activities. You will partner with campus leaders, DOE contracts, and the Berkeley Lab Foundation to ensure funds are managed accurately and efficiently.

The role requires deep knowledge of finance policies, strong communication with executive leadership, and experience in complex budgeting and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in budget, finance, operations and/or human resources.
• Expert knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
• Ability to analyze complex data and report findings clearly.
• Strong communication skills to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division finance, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Lead budgeting for UCNL and related entities and coordinate with BFO.
• Manage LBNL and LANL/LLNL financial activities and audits as liaison.
• Prepare detailed financial analyses and transfer requests across locations.
• Develop annual LBNL HOC proposals and ensure compliance with policies.
• Support strategic financial planning and executive reporting.
