Job summary

Haptiq is seeking a senior financial process engineer to lead a finance transformation for Apex Hospitality. You will bridge finance operations and technology, map and optimize ERP-driven workflows, and identify automation opportunities across restaurants, casinos, eCommerce, and DRF.

The role requires strong collaboration with finance leaders, controllers, and Haptiq engineers, with a two-week on-site discovery in Las Vegas and continued remote support as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and accounting operations experience across multi-entity environments.
• Hands-on experience with ERP workflows, finance transformation, and automation initiatives.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements for technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess current financial processes across multiple Apex units (restaurants, casinos, eCommerce, DRF).
• Map workflows for accounting, close, reporting, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, budgeting, and ERP links.
• Identify pain points, data issues, controls gaps, and opportunities for standardization.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for Haptiq AI and automation engineers.
• Develop an implementation roadmap with priorities, effort estimates, risks, and impact.
• Support validation, design reviews, testing, and business adoption with stakeholders.
