Conservation Northwest seeks a Director of Finance & Operations to lead our nonprofit finances and operations. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will own financial strategy, monthly close, and board reporting, while guiding policies and procedures.

You will supervise a Staff Accountant, an Operations Associate, and an IT Manager, and partner with the Board on financial strategy. You will oversee annual audits, grants management, internal controls, payroll, benefits, and IT security.

Formación

• Five+ years of progressive nonprofit finance experience, including managing a full accounting cycle and an annual audit.
• Experience with government and foundation grants and restricted funds.
• Fluency in GAAP for nonprofits and strong internal controls.

Responsabilidades

• Set the financial strategy for the organization and own monthly close and financial statements.
• Lead annual budget development with the ED and directors; track budget to actuals.
• Oversee audit preparation and Form 990; maintain registrations and filings.
• Collaborate on grant budgets and restricted funds reporting with program staff.
• Design and maintain internal controls and policies; manage cash and banking relationships.
• Staff the Finance Committee and report financials to the board.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, insurance, contracts, leases, and vendor management.
• Develop the finance and operations team and ensure IT systems security.
