Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
• Eight or more years of progressively responsible accounting and financial-management experience.
• Experience leading and developing accounting professionals and supervising operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, treasury activities, and financial systems.
• Experience with audits or financial statement reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to use SQL queries to extract, analyze, reconcile, and report financial data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee significant aspects of the Firm’s accounting operations, including close, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Supervise Finance personnel and promote accountability and cross-training.
• Maintain and strengthen the internal-control environment, including approval processes and reconciliations.
• Lead finance support for annual financial-statement review and coordinate with outside accountants and banks.
• Manage treasury and cash-management activities, including liquidity monitoring and related controls.
• Drive coordination across Accounting, Accounts Payable, Billing and Collections, Payroll, and other Finance functions to improve workflows.
• Identify control gaps and opportunities for efficiency and automation.
