Job summary

Grant Morgan seeks a Finance Associate / Senior Accountant in Washington, D.C. to provide hands-on accounting and financial support across a sophisticated, multi-entity portfolio including operating businesses, real estate, and trusts.

You will prepare statements, manage ledgers, close processes, and assist with tax coordination. The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule and strong opportunities for growth within a highly regarded investment firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.
• 3+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems; Sage experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports for multiple entities.
• Maintain general ledgers and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Support tax preparation and coordination with outside advisors.
• Provide financial analysis to senior management.
• Support cash management and other finance/operations activities.
• Handle confidential financial information with discretion.
