A leading software firm is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to guide financial planning and strategic decision-making for the Product Development & Manufacturing Solutions team. Autodesk is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to support the PDMS (Product Development & Manufacturing Solutions) Strategy Team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving strategic financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes to ensure the successful execution of PDMS initiatives. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, financial expertise, and business acumen to support the team in achieving its goals.
Responsibilities
Serve as the lead finance partner to the VP of Industry Strategy in PDMS, overseeing budgeting, planning, and forecasting for the organization
Develop financial models and lead analysis of topline metrics including Annualized Recurring Revenue, billings, revenue and other new financial metrics that are essential to measuring the success of the business
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes
Prepare critical financial analyses and executive level presentations to help stakeholders and investor relations understand the context or 'why' behind our financial results
Manage the strategy team’s budget to ensure budget is leveraged in the best way possible and within forecast expectations
Facilitate effective communication within various finance departments and across other divisions to drive collaboration and achieve common objectives
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements
Manage a team of financial analysts by providing guidance, setting priorities, and removing roadblocks
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
8+ years of related experience
Prior experience in Finance, Investment Banking or Consulting
Experience building financial models, preferably for subscription-based companies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership
Strong aptitude for, experience with, or desire to learn financial software (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI etc.)
