Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks a Finance Manager to oversee the financial integrity and performance of the Advanced Weapons organization within the Land Systems division.

The role is on-site in Auburn Hills, MI or Syracuse, NY, reporting to the Land Systems Controller and managing 3–5 direct reports. You will provide financial oversight, strategic planning, and cross-functional partnership to optimize profitability and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 16+ years progressive experience in financial management or 14+ years with a Masters degree.
• Led a finance/accounting/business management team, with talent development and succession planning.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal financial advisor to the Advanced Weapons leadership team, providing independent financial judgment and end-to-end oversight.
• Lead the divisions financial planning and performance management, including budget, five-year plan, forecasts, and metrics.
• Partner with Program Managers to provide reporting and dashboards for variance analysis and trends.
• Support EACs and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting; assist bidding and pricing activities.
• Assist Manufacturing and Supply Chain with tracking and forecasting material costs.
