Job summary

Unlimited Service Group is seeking a Director of Finance in Bloomington, MN to serve as the senior finance partner to branch and operational leaders. You will lead budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, and performance reporting, explaining drivers of results and helping teams improve profitability.

You will partner with Corporate Finance and Accounting on reporting and controls, with about 20% travel. This full-time role reports to the VP of Finance and is based in our Bloomington office.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience leading budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders across multiple locations.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills with ERP experience.
• Ability to communicate financial results clearly to non-finance leaders.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or related advanced qualification preferred.
• Experience in field service, distribution, job costing, labor utilization, and branch profitability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of financial performance and reporting as senior finance partner.
• Lead the finance team, set priorities, and develop staff.
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting for accurate reporting aligned with GAAP.
• Review monthly results, explain variances, and advise leadership.
• Oversee annual budget and forecasts with FP&A and operational leaders.
• Monitor revenue, labor, margins, and branch profitability.
• Strengthen financial controls and data quality for various revenue streams.
• Evaluate pricing, contracts, cost improvements, and capital investments.
