Job summary

Hollywood Casino Perryville in Maryland seeks a senior finance leader responsible for the accounting system of internal controls, financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting. You will supervise five direct reports and collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure SEC, IRS, and state gaming requirements are met.

MBA or CPA preferred; seven years in finance; strong MS Office skills; capable of presenting to executives; must obtain PA Gaming Control Board license.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in finance including accounting, audit, planning & analysis and/or operations.
• Must qualify for a PA Gaming Control Board license; CPA preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret financial documents, regulations, and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and document the Accounting System of Internal Controls.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute an efficient accounting and financial reporting system as directed by the Parent Company.
• Ensure regulatory compliance related to Accounting Internal Controls with applicable agencies.
• Create and maintain periodic internal reporting for management decision-making.
• Drive operating efficiency and implement approved processes.
• Own the annual company budget and capital plan and report variances.
• Develop and maintain a qualified staff capable of handling internal controls and financial reporting requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of GAAP, SEC, IRS, state gaming board rules and regulations.
• Supervise five direct reports across General Accounting, Casino Accounting, Purchasing, Warehouse, Budget and Analysis.
