Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation seeks a senior finance leader for the Chlorovinyls business unit to act as a strategic partner and lead analytical decision support. The role ensures accurate Chlorovinyls accounting in accordance with US GAAP and drives monthly results reporting to Executive Management.

The position oversees SOX compliance, internal controls, audits, and the annual budget process, guiding a 35-40 person team across corporate and plant sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting background with twelve plus years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA, CFA and/or MBA preferred.
• Experience supervising a corporate accounting department or division in a large manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth analysis and communication of financial data and business intelligence to enhance Chlorovinyls operations.
• Influence strategic decisions through strong partnership with financial and business leadership.
• Oversee accounting during monthly close to ensure US GAAP compliance and resolve close issues.
