Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks an experienced accounting professional to own the financials for a Chlor Alkali & Derivatives manufacturing asset. You will manage the P&L, forecasting, and reporting while ensuring US GAAP compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting with 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience; CPA/CMA or a Master’s is preferred and French proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA/CMA or Master’s degree preferred.
• French proficiency preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP and BPC accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L, Manufacturing Statement and Balance Sheet for a manufacturing plant.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and reporting packages for management.
• Forecast monthly results, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support annual budget.
• Coordinate activities across locations and departments; manage tight deadlines.
• Support internal and external audits; ensure US GAAP compliance.
