Job summary

CFS seeks a Senior Finance Director to serve as the senior finance leader within a stable, respected nonprofit organization. You will lead financial strategy, oversee a $30M–$50M operating budget, and partner with executive leadership and the Board to drive long-range planning and performance.

You will manage FP&A, budgeting, treasury, reporting, compliance, and team leadership, with high visibility and opportunity to modernize financial processes while contributing to strategic success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• CPA strongly preferred; MBA is a plus.
• Nonprofit finance experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and analyses for executive leadership and the Board.
• Oversee accounting operations, audits, compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, treasury activities, banking relationships, and investments.
• Partner with department leaders to improve financial performance and support decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members.
