Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a Madison-based organization in recruiting a Director of Finance to lead the accounting and finance functions and report to the Board. The role entails driving strategic initiatives, improving processes, and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for executive leadership and the Board.

Lead the finance team, implement major systems, and provide financial insights to ownership groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Law Practice or Law Firm Industry experience – Required.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience presenting recommendations to executive leadership or Boards; CPA preferred.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board.
• Evaluate and improve financial, accounting, billing, and accounts receivable processes.
• Develop, mentor, and lead the finance team.
• Provide financial recommendations and insights to leadership and the Board.

Salary: $145,000 – $165,000 Base + Bonus + Profit Sharing

Key Responsibilities for the Director of Finance:
