Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Analyst to lead complex analytical problems at the intersection of data science, finance, and strategy. You will frame questions, define metrics, and drive insights through to decisions affecting planning, reporting, and operations.

You will build data products, evaluate AI-enabled workflows, and lead cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, product, engineering, and investor relations, while upholding governance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science, analytics, finance, strategy, or related field with business impact.
• Strong business judgment and financial acumen to connect customer, subscription, revenue, and financial data to outcomes.
• Advanced SQL and programming in Python, R; experience with large-scale data platforms.
• Deep understanding of statistical reasoning, causal inference, experimentation, and modeling.
• Experience leading ambiguous, cross-functional problems with defined metrics/methodology.
• Experience designing and owning data products, analytics models, pipelines, or decision systems.
• Experience evaluating AI-enabled or non-deterministic systems using synthetic data, testing, or governance.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to author executive narratives.
• Ability to operate independently and build trust across technical, financial, and business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Frame and lead cross-team analytical problems involving growth, retention, LTV, pricing, forecasting, and external reporting.
• Define metrics, business logic, and levers used by leaders to manage performance.
• Own shared context, definitions, and analytical reasoning for Finance tools.
• Translate complex data into recommendations, investment choices, and operating changes.
• Build and own data products, semantic models, pipelines, and decision systems with Engineering/Data Platform.
• Establish quality standards, governance, and lifecycle ownership for data products and models.
• Apply causal inference, experiments, and synthetic tests to resolve attribution questions.
• Turn bottlenecks into scalable AI-enabled workflows with evaluation frameworks.
• Shape AI use in Finance, sizing opportunities and defining what good looks like.
• Build governance practices for AI-enabled systems.
• Raise analytical bar through leadership and reusable methods.
