Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or technical reporting supporting Finance, Accounting, SOX/regulatory compliance, or another tightly controlled business function.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent practical experience
• Data & Analytics Craft Qualifications: Proven strong SQL and data modeling skills, with working proficiency in Python for data pipelines, automation, or analysis.
• Proven experience building and maintaining BI solutions and dashboards end-to-end, from data exploration and architecture through visualization and delivery, using tools such as Qlik(Sense), Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proven experience with cloud data platforms and lakehouse architectures (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Glue/Lake Formation, Snowflake), including migrations between platforms.
• Proven experiencedefining data quality frameworks, lineage documentation, and access governance for data used in regulated reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, roadmap, and health of a large-scale reporting portfolio spanning SOX and non-SOX.
• Design and maintain the data validation and control frameworks that keep SOX-certified financial reporting accurate, traceable, and audit-ready.
• Lead the technical design and execution of large-scale data migrations, including legacy BI platform to governed cloud data lake/warehouse migrations.
• Partner with product managers, data engineers, and AI/data scientists at the start of new product and AI initiatives to profile the underlying data.
• Manage financial and business data as a governed asset across its lifecycle, including data quality monitoring and metadata.
• Identify and pilot GenAI and agentic approaches to modernize financial reporting and BI, with audit trails.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain BI solutions end-to-end using Qlik, Databricks, Tableau, SQL, and Python; mentor analysts and contingent workers.
