Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with close ownership.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and technical accounting proficiency.
• Experience managing external audits and preparing technical memos.
• Advanced experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Proven ability to manage and develop accounting staff.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the company’s accounting function with US GAAP reporting.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Serve as primary owner of the general ledger and balance sheet integrity.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting.
• Manage cash reconciliations and support cash management and treasury activities.
• Manage all external audit activities and direct communication with auditors.
• Oversee inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets, COR, and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure ongoing audit readiness and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Support tax compliance with external advisors.
• Partner with FP&A for financial statement analysis and reporting.
• Mentor and develop accounting team; drive process improvements (NetSuite).
