Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is supporting a leading global life sciences organisation in the search for a Finance Legal Entity Responsible for US & Canada. This senior controllership role drives financial integrity across multiple entities in the US and Canada.

You will oversee financial reporting, close, balance sheet and P&L reviews, and lead audits, tax coordination and internal controls, engaging senior stakeholders and leveraging SAP within a multinational setting. Morristown, NJ based with travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting or controllership.
• Strong experience within a multinational / international organisation.
• Solid US GAAP and financial reporting experience.
• Proven experience with legal entities, statutory reporting, audit and internal controls.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP or another major ERP system.
• Ability to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing financial reporting and period-end close activities.
• Reviewing Balance Sheet and P&L performance.
• Managing complex and non-routine accounting transactions.
• Ensuring compliance with US and local GAAP requirements.
• Leading statutory, regulatory and audit activities.
• Coordinating tax compliance and transfer pricing requirements.
• Working closely with Treasury on liquidity, funding and capital movements.
• Owning the Internal Control System and related governance.
• Supporting finance transformation, standardisation and automation initiatives.
• Partnering with Tax, Legal, Treasury, Controlling, Shared Services and senior business stakeholders.
