Job summary

Doist in Austin, Texas, seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations across a multi-entity setup. You will ensure GAAP compliance, drive month-end closes, and enhance internal controls while partnering with executives on financial strategy.

You have 7+ years in accounting with leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and a hands-on approach to improve processes, automate workflows, and safeguard assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and GAAP reporting.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, billing, payroll, and cash management.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure tax compliance.
• Provide FP&A support including budgeting, variance analysis, and reports to leadership.
• Lead and develop the finance team and drive process improvements.
