Job summary

StorSuite LLC is seeking an accomplished Controller to lead accounting operations for a growing multi‑entity organization in Austin, TX. You will own month‑end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management while partnering with executive leadership to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on leadership, deep GAAP knowledge, and a track record of improving controls and processes in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and audits.
• Experience with ERP systems or financial management software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and reconciliations.
• Manage AP/AR, billing, payroll, and cash management activities.
• Prepare leadership reports with variance analysis and insights.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Develop and motivate finance team; drive process improvements.
• Support external reporting and lender/investor communications.
• Drive ERP and process automation to improve efficiency.
