Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a Physician Practice Controller to assist the CFO in safeguarding physician practice assets and ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

The role emphasizes internal controls, policy compliance, and timely financial close. Key duties include ensuring monthly closes, preparing packages (statistical summaries, RVUs, incentives, budgets), and supporting various projects while coordinating with hospital leadership and the physician practice

Qualifications

• 4 year/Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience working in a hospital or physician practice setting.
• Peds background preferred.
• 7+ years financial/accounting/controller experience required.
• Manager/supervisor experience.
• Assist/partner with CFO and Controller.

Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly close deadlines are met and reconciliation/documentation is maintained for all activities.
• Assist CFO with identification and assessment of financial risk and communication of financial risk and opportunities.
• Monitor financial performance of service lines and sites, and support development of financial plans/forecasts.
