Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in financial statement preparation.
• 4+ years managing personnel.
• Strong knowledge of advanced accounting principles and job costing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct general accounting functions, payroll, billing & accounts receivable, accounts payable and expense reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversight of balance sheet accounts and internal controls.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, processes and procedures.
• Manage accounting systems and integrations with third-party systems.
• Drive efficiency and control through system leverage.
• Oversee financial reporting structure and audits.
• Direct federal and external annual audits and corporate income tax reporting.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external uses.
• Recruit, hire, train and coach staff; conduct evaluations and provide feedback.
• Allocate fiscal and personnel resources effectively.
