Job summary

Bespoke Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Controller to oversee financial integrity and reporting in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will manage accounting operations, lead the finance team, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide strategic insights for growth and risk management. The role emphasizes accuracy, internal controls, and collaboration with auditors and department heads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. MUST HAVE SAP/Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations specific to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and financial reviews.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
