Job summary

The Suddath Companies seeks a Finance Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls across manufacturing, inventory, and distribution activities. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and GAAP.
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial analysis in a manufacturing or furniture environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, budgeting tools, and financial reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, fixed assets, and close.
• Prepare, review, and distribute timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash flow planning processes.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Monitor manufacturing and inventory financial performance, including standard costing and COGS analysis.
• Coordinate audits and support tax and regulatory reporting.
