Job summary

Marjon Advisors Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our manufacturing client's accounting and financial reporting, ensuring integrity and timeliness of information.

You will establish controls, support payroll, oversee billing and cash management, and coordinate with external auditors while applying US GAAP. The role requires 5–10 years of experience and CPA/CMA preferred; ERP experience, especially Global Shop Solutions, is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of progressive financial management experience.
• CPA or CMA is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; Global Shop Solutions is a plus.
• Manufacturing, R&D, and product development experience preferred.
• Cost accounting and government contracting experience with DCAA/DCMA audits is a plus.
• Strong leadership, integrity, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen financial controls, including expense management and internal procedures.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, subledgers, and balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain chart of accounts and document accounting policies and procedures.
• Support payroll processes, including time reporting and reconciliations.
• Oversee billing, collections, and cash management.
• Develop, prepare, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial and operational metrics.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insight for sound decisions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory reporting requirements.
