Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Senior Consultant Finance to lead financial planning, forecasting, and business-case development for strategic initiatives. You will guide co-workers, ensure timely analyses, and maintain Strata-based planning tools in a healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, AI-enabled forecasting, and collaboration with senior leaders to support Mercy’s mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of five years accounting or financial analysis experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, analysis, and business case development for strategic and operational initiatives.
• Oversee mid-month forecasting and transition to automated AI-driven approach.
• Coordinate Strata data and security for One Plan and Strategic Planning modules.
• Manage portfolio of recurring, project-based, and ad hoc analyses.
• Prepare annual ROIC analysis and support data modeling for senior leaders.
• Ensure accuracy and GAAP disclosures in financial reporting.
