Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to transform data into actionable insights. You will develop standard and ad hoc reports, assist with budgeting and monthly close, and build models to support performance improvement across Mercy Health ministries.

Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners are essential. You will apply accounting and FP&A expertise to guide financial decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a current understanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline (required).
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (required).
• Healthcare experience and capital/operating expense management are preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, interpret, and identify trends in data to enable financial decisions.
• Develop standard and ad hoc data reports for quality and performance reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and monthly close support.
• Track KPIs and build financial models; assist with forecasting.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage cost center-related inquiries in Workday.
• Support cross-functional teams on financial guidance and initiatives.
