Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Senior Consultant in Decision Support to strengthen financial health and support mission-driven work. You will identify opportunities, deliver insights, and recommend strategies to improve margins across the ministry.

In collaboration with the CFO and operational leaders, you will develop analytical frameworks, monitoring tools, and standardized logic to evaluate performance and sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain financials to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated with curiosity and initiative.
• Experience developing comparative methodologies and standardized monitoring logic.

Responsibilities

• Identify financial opportunities and insights to enhance margin performance.
• Develop and apply comparative methodologies and monitoring tools to evaluate financial performance.
• Partner with operational leaders to explore root causes and envision future possibilities.
