Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Atlanta seeks a Senior Manager of Audit/Financial Compliance to lead strategic audit and compliance initiatives across the organization. You will manage a team of auditors, oversee risk-based engagements, and drive improvements in controls and reporting.

The role requires 6–8+ years in auditing, strong regulatory knowledge, CPA/CIA preferred, and proven leadership in a fast-growing environment. Travel ~15–25% and hybrid work flexibility are offered.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in auditing, compliance, risk management, or related finance functions.
• Strong understanding of audit principles and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
• CPA, CIA, or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of audit professionals.
• Manage risk-based and routine audit engagements across the organization.
• Analyze revenue reporting, financial transactions, and operational data to identify risks.
• Evaluate internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Review records and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with leaders to strengthen processes and drive efficiency.
• Communicate audit findings and remediation plans to stakeholders.
• Track corrective actions and monitor resolution of issues.
