Job summary
Corning Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Finance Business Analyst to support the BUs with financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement for a division exceeding $5B in revenue.
You will partner with finance, business, and IT teams to deliver accurate, decision-ready information, automate reporting, and drive a digital-first finance organization. This role emphasizes data visibility and scalable processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years of progressive finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Business analyst mindset with experience gathering requirements and process improvement.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, automation tools, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis across BU revenue, OpEx, cost performance, price pressure, product line P&L, and integrated margin.
- Translate business questions into analyses, reporting solutions, and decision-support tools.
- Manage Power BI reporting and develop dashboards, visuals, and self-service reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and key metrics.
- Analyze processes to identify improvements and standardize reporting.
